A place where every part of you is welcome, however you arrive, at your own pace.
About Our Therapy Services
Hi, I'm Lana.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. I work with adults navigating trauma, complex or developmental trauma, PTSD, dissociation (including OSDD and DID), religious trauma, survivors of sexual abuse, and the depression and anxiety that often come with it. My approach is integrative, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), grounded in Janina Fisher's framework, CBT, somatic and body-based work, EMDR, and other modalities, tailored to fit each client rather than a single method.
We all carry parts of ourselves that adapted to survive, the ones that protect, that go quiet, that hold what happened so the rest of you could keep moving. In our work together, none of those parts need to be hidden or fixed before they're welcome here. When they're finally heard and understood, they can begin to soften.
I approach this work holistically, honoring mind, body, and soul. Whatever spiritual beliefs or practices are meaningful to you are welcome here, and can be woven into your healing if that feels right for you.
Sessions with me are steady, attuned, and paced by what your system can hold. I bring the body into the room alongside the story, because trauma lives in more than memory. Whatever pace healing asks of you, I'll walk beside you.
Outside of clinical work, I supervise other clinicians and provide consultation, staying closely connected to the evolving research and practice of trauma-informed care.
